My name is Jake (aka Venom) and this is my brand new website that I hope to properly start and maintain (fr this time). The last website I made was from 5+ years ago and written entirely in base HTML CSS and JS (though I don’t believe I wrote any scripts for it) which was since abandoned a couple months after publishing it.

Definitely was in over my head at the time, but now that I’ve learned how to use Jekyll somewhat (it was still kind of weird to set up locally), I figured this would be much easier to update given that most things are in Markdown or YAML, and there is more of a focus to make posts rather than full on web design. Things should be a little less broken…

At this time, there really isn’t a whole lot to read up on. However I do have something planned to post some time soon, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks for reading, hope to see you in the next post!
